The Movement

2017 is going to be a great year for video games with all the massive titles that are currently coming out. With Nintendo Switch coming out in March, everyone is expecting it to completely change the market. When it comes down to it, Mobile gaming is becoming the movement.

Since mobile phones and tablets are getting better and better each year, you have to think about it ever eliminating the console platform. Many gamers right now are so busy with work and school that they don’t ever have the time to game unless they’re on the move.

“Could technology advance so much to the point where the graphics and gameplay are like you’re playing on a console/PC?”

Needs To Happen

You never know what could happen, I think what will convert more people to the mobile market is if the tablets/phones can receive a better battery life that will last longer that it does now. This will allow them to still use their phone after their done gaming aka, best of both worlds. The next feature is increasing the graphics, I’m sure in the near future an engine will be created to the point where you don’t even notice the difference between mobile and console. What’s great about mobile is you’re always connected the internet. If they can find a way to create a legit open world RPG eSport game, it will get interesting. When these things happen, that’s when you’re going to see the console and PC market start to be effected.

What do you guys think, could mobile eventually take over the video game industry? WIll Nintendo start this movement with its mobile feature?
